We’ve all heard the expression “Be the change you wish to see in the world”, but how is that really possible when life can often be so challenging, when people and situations in our environment trigger our emotional responses constantly and so many things seem out of our control?
The answer lies in our challenges. The things that trigger us actually give us the keys to our freedom when we have enough awareness to observe the mechanisms behind the habitual reactions. And, eventually, over time, we can learn to disconnect from the reactions and feel more freedom in our lives.
After even more practice, we can actually learn to affect our environments with our positive energy rather than being affected by them.
This is how we truly learn to become the light in the world and help to brighten the darkness around us.
